Piers Morgan has responded to criticism from American singer and actress Bette Midler after she said ‘even #Viagra can’t help such a sweet man’ following her sensational ‘Good Morning Britain’ walkout.

The former GMB host, 55, has never been shy about speaking his mind. Last year, Morgan clashed with Midler, 75, over talks about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Meanwhile, Midler didn’t hold back on social media over Morgan’s criticism of the couple, and also sounded off when he stormed the ITV sets live, Express reported. UK.

Piers Morgan exposes horrific battle against ‘racism’: ‘F**k it, I wasn’t going to apologize for not believing Meghan Markle’

Morgan had appeared on the breakfast program hours after Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, delivered their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. He then dismissed claims that Meghan had suffered from mental health issues during her tenure as a senior royal. He also called the aired bombshell a “trashathon” of the British royal family.

Morgane did not stop there. He continued to mock Meghan saying he wouldn’t believe her if she delivered a ‘weather report’ and asked why she hadn’t named the senior royal who allegedly made racist comments towards her son then unborn.

Morgan’s comments did not sit well with co-star Alex Beresford, who then discussed his experience of racism and berated Morgan for his attacks on Meghan. Shortly after Morgan stormed the sets on March 10, Midler took aim at him on Twitter. “#PiersMorgan has been distributing it for years and he left and quit after a minute of criticism by a colleague?” she tweeted. “Even #Viagra can’t help such a sweet man.”

Morgan has now responded to Bette’s comments.

“There’s a difference between crude name-calling or threats and a firmly held derogatory opinion – and sometimes it’s enough to clap a good zinger, even one at your own expense,” he wrote in his Mail on Sunday column.

Morgan slammed the ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’ hitmaker last year, saying she made “racist” comments against Melania Trump by mocking her Slovenian accent. “Oh my God. She still doesn’t speak English,” Midler tweeted during a speech by the former first lady. Sharing her tweet, Morgan commented, “Oh my god. Bette Midler is a racist.”

Morgan claimed several members of the Mountbatten-Windsor family congratulated him after his dramatic exit from ‘Good Morning Britain’, after he refused to apologize for his comments against Meghan, who had filed a personal complaint with ITV .

Morgan said he was contacted by Sarah, Duchess of York, who was married to the Queen’s son Prince Andrew from 1986 to 1996. ‘Friday April 9. Not all the Duchess Royals were as thrilled as Meghan’ Pinocchio’ Markle to see let me leave GMB,” he wrote, adding, “People have said how much they miss your morning joy and humor,” texted Sarah, Duchess of York , “come back there!” “

The former GMB star previously affirmed his support for the Royal Family during an interview with Billy Bush. “I have been given messages from several members of the royal family. I will not go into detail about who it was but [it was] gratitude that someone stood up,” he said.
