THE OLD 97’S / CAITLIN ROSE

The Old 97’s will celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2023 and have announced West Coast Tour Dates with Caitlin Rose, which happens in March and April.

THE WALKMEN

In 2013, The Walkmen went on “extreme hiatus”, but frontman Hamilton Leithauser said “we’ve decided we’d like to perform together again”. So far they have announced two reunion shows in New York.

BLACK EYES

Dischord Black Eyes veterans announced reunion shows for 2023 and a new vinyl reissue of their classic self-titled debut album.

FALSE NAMES (REFUSED, FUGAZI, MORE)

Punk supergroup Fake Names will return with a new album and a US tour in 2023.

KING GIZZARD

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard recently wrapped up their 2022 North American Tour, which included their biggest New York show yet at Forest Hills Stadium. They have just announced that they will be returning to the United States in June 2023 for a “residence visit” where they will play several shows at special venues across the country, including The Underground Caverns of Tennessee, Red Rocks of Colorado, The Salt Shed of Chicago and After.

MARCO BENEVENT

Marco Benevento has announced his tour dates in March, starting in Jersey City White Eagle room on 3/10 and from there hitting Philly, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Madison, WI. He also has appointments this fall, including the one in Brooklyn Williamsburg Music Hall on November 17. head here for all dates.

WIZKID

After his sold-out debut at Madison Square Garden this week, Nigerian afrobeats star Wizkid will return to North America in 2023 for a 20-date arena tour.

BLACK HERSTORY LIVE RANGE

Afropunk and Lincoln Center announced the lineup for the two days Black HERstory live which will take place on February 24 and 25. On stage will be India Arie, Umi, Mereba, Celisse, Danielle Ponder, aja monet and Kimberly Nichole, as well as Ebony Williams and Sarah Jones. More info here.

HAILEY WHITTERS

Country singer Hailey Whitters will be go on his own tour before joining Shania Twain in May. Highlight dates include Nashville, Denver, Las Vegas, Iowa City, and more.

CARLY RAE JEPSEN

Carly Rae Jepsen has completed her 2022 So nice tourbut she will return to New York this week for a show at United Palace Theater on Thursdays.

ELVIS COSTELLO

Elvis Costello & The Imposters announced a 2023 North American tour happening in late winter and hitting East Coast cities including DC, Charlottesville, Atlantic City, Montclair, Kingston, Port Chester and After.

SHAME

British band Shame will release a new album Food for worms in February and will be on tour for him too.

SPIRITBOX

Alternative metal band Spiritbox have announced their first headlining North American tour with After the Burial and Intervals. The NYC show is at Irving Plaza on May 1. head here for all dates.

The Alberta Rural Advantage will continue to support this year’s program The climb PE on tour in 2023with stops in Chicago, St Louis, Boston, NYC (Bowery Ballroom on 3/23), Philly, DC, Detroit and After. Georgia Harmer opens all dates.

GRAHAM NASH

Graham Nash is finishing work on his new studio album, titled Nowwhich will be released in the spring of 2023. Although details on this are yet to come, he has announced that he will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of his first single with The Hollies on the “Sixty Years of Songs and Stories” Tour in 2023 which includes multi-night races in Chicago, the DC area, New York and more.

HIPPO CAMPUS / GUS DAPPERTON

Hippo Campus will be touring North America with Gus Dapperton next spring, including shows at Red Rocks, the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, Chicago’s new venue The Salt Shed, and more. The tour ends in New York at SummerStage in Central Park on June 3. head here for all dates.

ROLLING LOUD CALIFORNIA 2023

Multi-city hip hop festival Rolling Loud has announced its California Edition 2023, March 3-5 at the Hollywood Park Grounds (next to SoFi Stadium) in Inglewood, CA. The lineup is headlined by Playboi Carti Friday (3/3), Travis Scott Saturday (3/4) and Future Sunday (3/5). The the whole range is here.

BOYS VIAGRA

The Swedish Viagra Boys will be back in the United States in early 2023 and they added a second show in Brooklyn (Elsewhere on February 17, the 02/16 show is sold out). All dates are here.

JOYCE MANSION / PUPPY

Joyce Manor recently announced that they will be starting 2023 with a big Long Beach Arena Show with PUP, Jeff Rosenstock and Slaughterhouse on 1/7, and now Joyce Manor and PUP have revealed that they will continue having fun with co-headlining tour in March which hits Austin, Denver, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, etc.

STRONG MINDED

Hudson Valley hardcore heroes Mindforce, creators of one of the best releases of 2022are finally playing a show in New York.

THE BAD ENDS (MEMBERS OF REM / FIVE EIGHT)

The Bad Ends, the Athens, GA band fronted by former Five-Eight frontman Mike Mantione and featuring Bill Berry on drums (his first band since leaving REM), released their debut album in January and have announced their first concerts.

RACKET (NEW NYC VENUE) INITIAL RANGE

Bowery Presents is opening Racket in the former Highline Ballroom space in early 2023 and they just announced the initial program of shows.

THE SALT SHED (NEW CHICAGO VENUE) INITIAL RANGE

The Salt Shed, Chicago’s newest venue housed in the former Morton Salt Works, had a soft opening this year with a few outdoor performances, but now has announced the initial lineup of shows for his inner room, including Iggy Pop, Fever Ray, The Flaming Lips and After.

HIGH WATER FESTIVAL

Shovels & Rope Festival held in South Carolina high water festival returns for its fifth year in 2023, April 15-16 at Riverfront Park in North Charleston. They announced the 2023 lineup, which is headlined by Beck, Wilco, and Rainbow Kitten Surprise. Check the full range.
