APC presidential primaries: Orji Kalu reacts to Tinubu’s victory


Former Governor of Abia State and Head of the All Progressive Congress, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu hailed Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his victory in the just-concluded APC primary elections.

Kalu, in a congratulatory post on his official Facebook page, described Tinubu’s Victory as a victory for everyone in the APC.

While hailing other aspirants for a good exit, he called on those who lost the elections to accept the result in good luck and work for the betterment of the party.

“To all the aspirants who participated in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary, especially my dear friend and Senate Speaker, Senator Ahmad Lawan, congratulations on a good and wonderful outing.


“Everyone has campaigned enough to win the primary election, but there is only one candidate who will represent the party in the general election.

“To my friend and colleague, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was elected Presidential Standard Bearer of our party, congratulations. APC won.

“As a faithful party man, I also congratulate the party on their victory and encourage all other aspirants to accept this victory in a sporting spirit.”

The Abia lawmaker said he owed the party an open mind and full support, stressing that he “hopes this victory will bring deeper reflection on the Southeast and Northeast in the affairs of the nation”.
